May 21, 2011: Reversathon prompting is CLOSED

We have 33 profiles created, with a lot of delicious options; rather than try to stick them all into one post, and have the info overload get overwhelming, I have posted them as distinct entries in playerone. Each entry is tagged with the offered fandoms, which means prompters can browse by fandom using the tags page, and writers/artists can choose to track their own posts and get comment notifications for prompts they receive.

Prompters, things to remember:

• Please leave prompts as comments to each profile.


• Please do not leave more than two prompts for any one profile.


• You may make a total of eight prompts (I think I said five before, but there are just too many awesome things). You can make them all at once, or one at a time as they occur to you. (I'll keep track behind the scenes, too, so if you find yourself wondering if you've made six prompts or only five, ping me and I'll let you know.)


• Please respect the preferences of the writer/artist: don't ask them for things they've said they're not interested in doing, and don't don't say insulting things to them about any of their interests. Not only is that an excellent way to convince a writer/artist NOT to take your prompts, it's also the fastest way to get banned from prompting.


• You do not have to have made a profile to leave prompts. Everybody is welcome to leave suggestions.


• Prompting will be open until May 21.

Writers/artists, things to remember:

• You may start working on a prompt as soon as inspiration strikes, and you may post it whenever it's done. Please post directly to newgameplus instead of just linking elsewhere; feel free to crosspost anywhere you like.


• You do not have to write/draw for every single prompt you get. If there's only one that excites you, just do that one. If you want to attempt several, awesome! If life gets on top of you and it turns out you can't complete any, we'll be sorry but it's okay. (If something comes up before May 21 and you know you will definitely not be able to fill prompts, please let me know so I can get your profile out of active circulation and redirect prompters elsewhere.)


• The posting round will "officially" last until June 18: during that time all prompts made to your profile are exclusively yours to work on. If you're still working on something after June 18, please feel free to post it late; the not-yet-filled prompts will be made available to other people that weekend, but you are still welcome to fill them yourself.


• If at any point you feel overwhelmed by the number of prompts on your profile and need to call a time out, just ping me and I'll edit your profile to say your prompt inventory is full.


• If you post on the Archive of Our Own, please consider adding your work to the collection for this challenge round; you can hit "post to collection" from that page, or put newgame_reverse2011 in the collections/challenges field of the posting form. (If you don't have an account on the AO3 but would like one, you can add yourself to the invite queue and get an invite from the archive within a few days, or PM cypher with an email address and I'll send you one directly; I have a few invites specifically for NG+ purposes.)
