FFVII: I love the Turks, as well as Tifa
FFVIII: Quistis, Irvine, Laguna; Rinoa/Quistis, Quistis/Laguna, Squall/Laguna, Squall/Ellone, Ellone/Zell, Seifer/Zell, Seifer/Irvine
For X/X2 and XII I like most of the characters and don't have particular favorites.

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
I'm willing to give anyone a try. I find Sephiroth and Seifer a lot less interesting (to write) than most of fandom, but with the right prompt you could change my mind, so I'm not going to draw any hard lines here. ;)

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
I love to write meta, especially about magic: how the in-game magic systems, themes, and plot devices (it IS Final Fantasy) work and what they might be like through the character's eyes; I also like to meta and expand on magic and abilities and use them in new fun ways. This includes magic!kink, yes! I love worldbuilding and filling in holes.
I love competent women, and ladies being good at what they do, whether that is a traditional lady role or not. I also like snarky, charming guys with hidden depths of observation and talent!
I like genfic and shippingfic alike! I love crossovers, I like to dabble in AUs or ARs or what-ifs, and I like to experiment with pairings and situations.
In terms of pairing fic, I really adore when people get together around or in the midst of something else - I love fic with plot where the romance happens, and prefer to write that over fic in which the romance is the plot and plot driver.
I also like complicated and complex relationships. I adore relationships in which the ties binding two (or three!) people are complex and on multiple levels - the overlaps of lust and/or love with other connections: loyalty, servitude, friendship, family, companionship, responsibility, rivalry, etc. This is what I love about incest or twincest pairings (yes: I am grabbyhands at your incest prompts), but it also marks a lot of my favorite pairings or ways to write these pairings: People are complicated and even lots of love doesn't make a connection or understanding easy. I love threesomes and/or open relationships/arrangements also, and the complex dynamics they produce.

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
I'm not a big fan of embarrassment or humiliation humor, but I am pretty legitimately open to everything else.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
I like prompts that have a core idea, but then give me room to play or experiment -- or prompts with a handful of suggestions that I can choose to include or not as the work evolves. I love prompts that include a little bit of *plot* guidance, too, in addition to a character or pairing.

Penelo & Basch - the unexpected peanut gallery (somewhere along the way they discover that they both have a tendency to make snarky comments under their breath. bonding, friendship (and continued snark) commence.)

Final Fantasy VI prompt

Celes+/Terra, an AU where Terra remains a soldier of the Gestahl Empire even though she isn't controlled by the slave crown (although some other sort of manipulation might be involved).

Various things that might fit into this idea:
-Terra and Celes might get along easily or they have some sort of rivalry at first
-Terra helping Celes learn how to use her new magical powers (magic!kink is always a plus)
-perhaps the girls grow up around each other, making a romantic/sexual relationship pseudo-incestuous
-If Terra doesn't meet Locke in Narshe and is still with the Empire, when Celes turns traitor, does Terra change sides along with her? Try to rescue her from the dungeons? Remain a staunch supporter of the Empire?

...Uh, anything you like in that vein, assuming you like it (pick and choose)! Sorry this is so long. ^^;

FFVIII, Irvine/Ellone.

Plot idea: Irvine discovers that the rest of his friends are suddenly forgetting that Ellone exists, and goes to see her to find out why. The two go on an adventure through their memories and through time, and discover that something has gone horribly wrong that only they can fix. Would love some meta about the Sorceresses, Ellone's power or the GFs involved in this, as well as some realization between the two that maybe Irvine sees Ellone as something other than "Sis," even though he can still remember those days.

Rosa/Rydia! Post-game, with Cecil and Rosa having an open relationship (maybe before Rydia and Edge get hitched, or maybe Edge is involved too), maybe with cultural meta about relationships. As for plot, umm, I would love some politics with Rydia as the de facto leader of Mist and the representative of the eidolons, and how her relationship with Rosa conflicts with (or enhances!) her political role. Or possibly an attempt to recapture Rydia's ability to use white magic (which can go well, or not).

FFVI

Terra/Shadow (or Terra & Shadow) - Shadow touches magicite for the first time on the trip to Thamasa, and Terra tries to help him understand how it works. If nothing else, it gives them a welcome distraction from the tense circumstances of the journey.

Rydia/Edge/Kain, as SeeDs. The three of them would make a devastating team with their complementary skills. Something that could be really cool would be them being sent to the continent with Odin's tower, and encountering him; how would they react with holes in their memories? What are their favourite GFs? Go wild!

Reno/Rude/Elena/Tseng - what happened after Tseng was nearly killed at the Temple of the Ancients? Did the Turks rescue him? Did someone else? Did they think he was dead, the way our party did?

Basically I'd love to see how the Turks are reunited, and how all four of them mesh and care about each other in different ways. Bonus for Reno being a competent temporary leader, not just the comic relief, and for Tseng getting some actual h/c, not just all the beatings he collects in canon. ^.^
