prompting information, now obsolete )

PROMPTING IS NOW CLOSED.

Writers/artists, things to remember:

  • You may start working on a prompt as soon as inspiration strikes, and you may post it whenever it's done. Please post directly to [community profile] newgameplus instead of just linking elsewhere; feel free to crosspost anywhere you like.

  • You do not have to write/draw for every single prompt you get. If there's only one that excites you, just do that one. If you want to attempt several, awesome! If life gets on top of you and it turns out you can't complete any, we'll be sorry but it's okay. (If something comes up before May 21 and you know you will definitely not be able to fill prompts, please let me know so I can get your profile out of active circulation and redirect prompters elsewhere.)

  • The posting round will "officially" last until June 18: during that time all prompts made to your profile are exclusively yours to work on. If you're still working on something after June 18, please feel free to post it late; the not-yet-filled prompts will be made available to other people that weekend, but you are still welcome to fill them yourself.

  • If at any point you feel overwhelmed by the number of prompts on your profile and need to call a time out, just ping me and I'll edit your profile to say your prompt inventory is full.

  • If you post on the Archive of Our Own, please consider adding your work to the collection for this challenge round; you can hit "post to collection" from that page, or put newgame_reverse2011 in the collections/challenges field of the posting form. (If you don't have an account on the AO3 but would like one, you can add yourself to the invite queue and get an invite from the archive within a few days, or PM [personal profile] cypher with an email address and I'll send you one directly; I have a few invites specifically for NG+ purposes.)

Do you write, draw, or both?: both!

Fandoms you're excited about right now:
Tales of Vesperia
Assassin's Creed 2
The Last Remnant
Dragon Age: Origins
World of Warcraft

Favorite characters & relationships:
Assassin’s Creed 2: Ezio & Leonardo da Vinci.
Tales of Vesperia: Yuri & Flynn.
The Last Remnant: David & Rush, Emma, Emmy, Emma & Torgal, Caedmon.
Dragon Age Origins: Alistair, Zevran, Wynne, Sten, Shale, Morrigan, player character of your choice.
For World of Warcraft, I prefer art prompts-- it's a big world, suggest anything you love or want to see!

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
Dragon Age Origins: Liliana
Tales of Vesperia: Karol

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
wings, respect, vampires, soulbonding (involuntary and unwanted or not), close friendship, adorable romance, loyalty, kismesis, power dynamics and power imbalance, UST, going from UST to being requited, demons, being on opposite sides while still caring deeply about one another, asexuality in a romantic relationship, asexuality being respected in a romantic poly relationship with people who are sexual, dubcon, sex pollen/aphrodisiac, slavery, difficult (or easy) bargains made for sexual favors, ownership, knights (comrades in arms) and knights owing allegiance to their masters.

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
zombies, gore, underage sex, pregnancy, children.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
I’m up for crossovers of any of the fandoms I listed with any of the others, and some AUs-- I like AU prompts like “if X were a vampire” or “set in the Old West” or “X is a demon summoned by Y for Z reason.” I would prefer to be given both an art prompt and a writing prompt option for anything you suggest, so I can choose the one that works best for me! If you think the writing prompt works as an art prompt too, that’s fine, just say so.

For writing prompts, you can give me a few words or a scenario and character names, or a song lyric, or link to a song-- I'm pretty open here!

For art prompts, the same things apply, but I'd love it if you could also suggest the colors and/or time of day that you associate with the characters and scene in question... and also pick a type of flower, flavor or gemstone, if it fits. If you can suggest one from each category, great! I dig Art Nouveau and those details would really help me out if I go the Art Nouveau route.

Do you write, draw, or both?: Write!

Fandoms you're excited about right now: Tales of Vesperia!

Favorite characters & relationships:
Rita and Raven are my favorite characters! But I pretty much love the whole party. I also love a lot of the NPCs, like Kaufman, Don Whitehorse, and Belius.

Relationship-wise, I am the opposite of OTP-ish, and I pretty much like the whole party + Flynn together. Combinations I find particularly interesting include Rita/Estelle, Rita/Raven, Yuri/Judith, Yuri/Flynn/Judith, Yuri/Raven, Judith/Rita, Judith/Rita/Estelle, and Judith/Raven. Other things I might enjoy playing with include Alexei/Schwann, Schwann/Flynn, Yeager/Raven, Kaufman/Yuri, Kaufman/anyone really... and more. Really, I'd probably love to play with pretty much any obscure pairing in this fandom you can think of.

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
I am lukewarm on Karol. I am not interested in writing Yuri/Flynn, not because I don't like it but because it's done enough that I don't feel like I have anything I want to say about it.

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
I like writing kinky sex! Particularly with complicated powerplay, and particular with kinks that are suited to the characters in question. I enjoy playing with how characters work together, both personally and sexually. I have fun with characters being clever and snarky. I also love doing things with magical systems - for instance, Rita's magic or Raven's blastia. I enjoy playing with the conflicts inherent in Raven's personalit(y/ies). I love writing fight scenes, especially sexually-charged ones. ...I also have a secret weakness for Vesperia high school AU.

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
Straight angst or fluff are both unlikely to grab me. I don't enjoy comic misunderstandings or formulaic romances.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
Fairly detailed prompts, with a scenario and maybe a kink or two.

Vanille/any male character

Final Fantasy XII:
non-OT3 Balthier/Fran as anything other than epic BFFs
Larsa/Penelo
Vaan/Penelo

Final Fantasy X/X-2:
Yuna in any kind of LTR
Rikku/Auron
Wakka/Lulu

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:

Wordbuilding - Particularly with Spira
Playing with structure (drabble series, 5 things, pretending to write primary source materials)

Shmoopy kidfic
Pregnancy/F-preg
General, all-purpose, shmoop
Bondage
Watersports/Desperation
Sex Geekery
Song Fic
Friendship fic
Angsty, psychological darkfic
Hurt/Comfort

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:

Excessive violence & gore
Sad endings
Character bashing

What kind of prompts do you like best?

I like prompts that are fairly specific, but with room for interpretation, such as a general plot situation with either one or two details or a theme plus a mood, tone, or structure.

Do you write, draw, or both?: Both

Fandoms you're excited about right now:
Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Vesperia, Star Ocean 4, Last Remnant (my more experienced fandoms, have written/drawn these before)
Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 8 (haven't written/drawn before)

Favorite characters & relationships:
Tales of the Abyss: Peony/Jade (OTP), Peony/Jade/Guy, Asch and Guy (optional Luke), Anise and Jade gen
Tale of Vesperia: Yuri/Flynn (OTP), Duke, Raven, Leblanc
Star Ocean 4: Crowe/Arumat (OTP), Arumat and Meracle gen, permutations of Crowe/Arumat/Edge/Reimi/Faize, Sarah
Last Remnant: David/Rush (OTP), Torgal, Emma, Allen, Caedmon, Khrynia
Final Fantasy 7: Reno/Rude, Tseng, Elena, Sephiroth/Genesis/Angeal/Zack and permutations thereof (+ optional Cloud), Vincent, Vincent/Cid, Vincent and Sephiroth gen(father/son?)
Final Fantasy 8: Laguna, Squall, anyone you think would appeal based on my other character preferences (currently still learning this canon)

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
Van Grants, Judith, Myuria, Lymle, the Conqueror, Hojo, Rufus Shinra, pairings that conflict with or separate the OTPs above.

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
Manly friendship, most-important-person
Gen interaction, banter, friendship, found/made families, etc.
AU (including but not at all limited to: mythological creatures, cops, fantasy, sci-fi, soulbonding, pseudo-RL, crossovers with other fandom universes, everyone-lives)
Reunions/near-death /back from the dead
Hurt/comfort - battle injuries, bad statuses, anything you like. Giant bonus for plausible excuses to make pretty men throw up, faint, or otherwise suffer nicely.
Xenokink/Interspecies/Kemonomimi
Playing with game mechanics, especially for h/c
Silly/fun clichés, like character-gets-turned-into-???, sex-pollen, etc. Snuggles.
Poignant deathfic (for angst I usually want a happy ending, but sometimes certain stories are sorrow instead of angst)

I like kink, especially bodily secretion, transformation(xeno/kemonomimi), and h/c types. I write foreplay much more than porn, and draw nakedness much more than hardcore. I like gen and friendship stuff a lot, and adopted or pseudo-families, characters that have fun together, and generally people who take care of each other.

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
Dark-and-gritty, life on the streets, straight-out BDSM, hooker/gang/prison AUs, abusive powerplay, permanently-damaging sorts of hurt.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
Short prompts of a theme or a single idea are more likely to work for art, a scenario or something with an emotional hook for me to start from is better for writing.

Do you write, draw, or both?: Write

Fandoms you're excited about right now: Ace Attorney series, Advance Wars series (particularly Dual Strike), Vitamin X, Persona 4 (only for Shadow pieces with characters from other series), crossovers with Prince of Tennis, Homestuck

Favorite characters & relationships:
Ace Attorney: Dick Gumshoe, Larry Butz, Fransizka Von Karma, Ema Skye, Matt Engarde; Gumshoe/Edgeworth, Larry/Fransizka, Klavier/Apollo(/Kristoph), nonsexual relationship between Edgeworth and Fransizka
Advance Wars: Grit, Sasha, Colin, Jess, Javier, Rachel, Sami, Jake, Sonja; dynamics of each army's COs as a group (I would love, for instance, to write a piece about how everyone in Blue Moon relates to each other), Sasha/Rachel, Jess/any other female CO, Grit-Max-Nell dynamic
Vitamin X: Mizuki, Hajime, Shun, Kiyoharu, Nikaido, Sanada, Konokage, Katsuragi; Hajime/Mizuki, Kiyoharu/Shun, Sanada/Nikaido, Ohtori/Katsuragi, Minami/Goro, nonsexual relationship between Konokage and Shun

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
Ace Attorney: Phoenix/Edgeworth
Advance Wars: Black Hole COs besides Lash and Hawke
Vitamin X: Teacher/student pairings besides Minami/Goro

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
D/s dynamics, hurt/comfort, character study, backstory, fluff, sweet loving affectionate porn, platonic best friends, genderswap (in a "has always been _____" sense)

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
deathfic, anything involving earthquakes, serious power disparities in M/F relationships

What kind of prompts do you like best?
I like prompts that give me a good idea of the dynamic that the reader wants to see between the characters, or the aspects of the character that they are interested in. Plotty prompts are good! So are short open-ended prompts! Also, anyone who prompts me for VitaminX will have all my love.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Boss/Naked Snake
Tomb Raider: Jacqueline Natla/Lara Croft* + optional Lara's clone from "Underworld: Lara's Shadow"

* Please note the important note about these two pairings (+ extras) below.

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
Pairings not specified above. Blood familial relationships, particularly siblings and parent-child relationships (even if gen, even if in the background). Van Grants. Alexei.

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:

I prefer to write stories that foreground relationships and character development and with background adventure/politics/grand scale happenings. I like working with history.

All very good: Partnerships, friendships, established/long term relationships (first time sexual encounters are fine, but I prefer to be able to work with the history behind that first time), drawn out mutual UST, make-up sex/reunions/second chances/resurrecting characters killed by canon, domesticity/cooking together/washing together/sleeping next to each other, alcohol/drunkenness, food, magic, technology, game mechanics (particularly but not limited to in the service of kink). I like writing about relationships that negotiate differences in status or authority (again, particularly, but not limited to in the context of kink).

And speaking of kink: Kinks, yes, please - and please note that I include "gen" kink in this (stories with high kink content but low ratings, maybe because it's fetish rather than sexual content, maybe because they're doing foreplay in public, etc.) I like writing foreplay, negotiation, explicitly and enthusiastically expressed consent, and aftercare as much as explicit sexual content-- as well as kinky people being kinky at moments that are not about sex at all (see everything I said about domesticity/affection/intimacy above).

D/s is very welcome (particularly but not limited to with switches), as is anything with humiliation or orgasm denial/control, anything with roleplay (e.g. dub-con/non-con, genderplay, ageplay), anything with bodily secretion kinks (e.g. bloodplay, comeplay, watersports, vomiting, over-eating, enemas, scat), anything with xenokink, tentacles or furry-- but really anything with a kink that seems to fit the characters or pairing will be potentially very interesting to me. I like that sort of challenge, figuring out how *these* characters would do *that* kink. I also like the challenge of pairing up characters with non-obviously compatible kinks: for example, a sadist with a fetishist (as opposed to with a masochist).

Special notes about Judith/Rita & Natla/Croft: In sharp contrast to most of the pairs I've listed, I do not want these pairs fluffy or domestic and I'd prefer them non-con or dub-con at the least rather than consensual. Prompts about these pairs I'd like to include any of: betrayal, abuse of authority, humiliation, sexual slavery, coercion/threats, mind-breaking, mind control.

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
Family relationships. Unrequited affection, love triangles or drama hinging on jealousy. 24/7 BDSM/D/s relationships or the BDSM or clubbing "scenes". I'm not often squickable, but I'd prefer not to be prompted for anything (kinky or otherwise) that involves permanent injury, disability, death, and especially anything that involves or heads towards permanent relationship break-ups for those listed as an OTP above.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
Pairing/moresome + kink(s) is always good, as is some indication about the kind of mood/emotion or time/place/setting. I prefer prompts with a few, specific main elements (ie fewer rather than many options), but also being open-ended about the smaller details. With AUs, I work better with hints how the AU connects to canon (ie "what if X had happened instead" or "characters A and B are small furry animals instead of their canon representations") rather than broad prompts like "sci fi AU".

Do you write, draw, or both?: Write.

Fandoms you're excited about right now:
Guild Wars, Portal/Portal 2, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn, Tales of Vesperia, Fallout 3.

Favorite characters & relationships:
GW: Cynn, Gwen, Gwen & Pyre interaction (but not Gwen/Pyre), Gwen/Langmar, Cynn/Mhenlo, Eve, Palawa Joko.
Portal: Chell, GLaDOS, Companion Cube, Caroline
Fire Emblem: Jill/Lethe, Leanne, Nephenee/Heather, Soren, Mia
Tales of Vesperia: Rita
FO3: Moira Brown

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
I can't think of any characters that I wouldn't want to write.

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
I'm a science geek, so I love anything that gives me the chance to work science into stories. I also enjoy trying to sew up minor holes in canon. If there's something that just doesn't make sense, I like figuring out how things could be that way. Similarly, I like to expand on plot points that are only touched upon in canon. I generally like either gen or F/F stuff best. At the moment, I'm interested in writing things that are happy and joyful and hopeful. Oh, and I also love time travel.

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
Not interested in writing anything explicit, nor anything where a relationship is the sole focus of the story. Nothing too dark or depressing.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
I like prompts that present me with ideas and let me play around with them and experiment and generally riff around a general theme.

Fandoms you're excited about right now:
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter
Dragon Age II
Golden Sun (all)
Legend of Mana
Legend of Zelda
Suikoden Tierkreis
Tales of Legendia
Tales of Symphonia

Favorite characters & relationships:
I picked fandoms where I like almost everyone, heh, so anything goes. Gen/het/slash/femslash is fine for any fandom, though I'd prefer femslash prompts for Tales of Legendia.

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
Would prefer gen/character prompts for Amnesia. I don't usually write slash pairs for Tales of Legendia.

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
AUs, family relationships (siblings, parent and child, unconventional family groups), body markings (tattoos/tattooing, scars, inking, leaving bites and bruises), cuddling/comforting.

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
I'm not comfortable writing scat/watersports/bodily fluids, m!preg, or non-con.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
Song lyrics, quotes, or general scenarios (i.e. "High School AU" or "Isabella, Varric and Bianca fight crime").

Fandoms you're excited about right now:
Okami and Okamiden
Raidou Kuzunoha vs Everything
Devil Survivor
Portal/Portal 2
Psychonauts
Odin Sphere
Final Fantasy X and X-2
Final Fantasy Tactics
Flower

Favorite characters & relationships:
Overall, I have a fondness for the mythological, non-human, and overlooked characters.

Everyone and everything in Okami and Okamiden! But especially Ammy, Chibi, Waka, and Kurow. I like my puppies and my moon kids and want to see all four of them interact, okay? I’m also somewhat intrigued by Kuni in a “I bet I could make him really interesting under the right circumstances” way.

For the Megaten games I’m especially interested in the summons and demons. I just think they’re neat. Also, anyone who has a good tie to mythology or has a sense of history. I like Raidou and Narumi in a non-shippy way. I like exploring Raidou’s connection to his demons, and I’m intrigued by Naoya’s and the MC’s relationship with their summons over their incarnations

The corrupted cores and crap turrets are hilarious, and I'd love a good idea of how to use them. Also, Cave Johnson and Caroline have fabulous potential for corporate/science shenanigans, and all the terrible and creepy aftermath of that.

Everyone in Psychonauts is awesome, from the silly campers to the hip and neurotic counselors to Raz himself. I also love the mental worlds and would like to design more of them.

In Odin Sphere I enjoy making Ingway’s life pain, with Mercedes sassily coming along for the ride. I’m also intrigued by the relationship between Ingway and Gwendolyn, since the game didn’t show any of that.

For FFX and FFX-2, the only ones I’m really interested in are the fayths/aeons, the Crimson Squad (Baralai especially), and Seymour. Braska and crew are also pretty interesting. Summons and summoners!

I like FF Tactics but I’ll probably have to keep it lighthearted and limited to Ramza’s band of rebels since I don’t have time for a canon refresher. Ramza, Mustadio, and newcomer Balthier are all fun.

I want to write Flower but don’t really know how. If anyone has a good idea how to approach this, please, prompt!

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
For the most part, I’m not that interested in the main characters as much as the side characters. The more obscure/underused, the better!

Not interested in writing for most of the FFX characters unless noted

Not interested in writing Oswald and Gwendolyn romance

Not interested in any non-canon relationship with a big age difference or other abuse of power thing going on (ex: no teacher/student, child/adult, master/slave things please)

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
Mythology!
Plotty things!
Ties to in-canon referenced stories/operas/media
Silly prompts (I can do humor pretty well)
Crossovers that make sense
Reincarnations and repeating patterns through different lives
Really interesting, unusual ideas that haven’t been written for a fandom before
Characters who haven’t met/interacted much getting to interact
Really minor characters
Child characters growing up, or other aging of characters
Working with game mechanics
Taking premises to an interesting conclusion

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
I don’t write porn
I don’t do human Ammy (this doesn’t discount a relationship with Waka, just dog version only)
I pretty much don’t go higher than PG-13 for gore, though implications of it is fine

What kind of prompts do you like best?
Ones with very interesting premises. Give me a really neat idea, and I’ll try to run with it!

Fandoms you're excited about right now:
Suikoden III
Dragon Age 2

Favorite characters & relationships:
For Suikoden III - The Budehuc group, Chris Lightfellow, Lucia, any of the women, really. Thomas/Cecile, Chris/Percival (Don't take the pairings as restrictive. I'm pretty flexible.)
For Dragon Age 2 - All the companions! And Cullen, and the whole Hawke family (minus Malcolm)

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
For Suikoden III: Any of the villains, Borus.
For Dragon Age 2 - Malcolm Hawke, Meredith (maaaybe early or pre-game would be okay)

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
I love writing slice-of-life and missing scenes that slide into canon. I can do plot, but it's more likely to be about a small conflict than large and epic. Also: characters showing they care about each other without saying so explicitly and doing their best in tough situations.

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
I don't write explicit stuff. I mean, I could try, but the end result would probably be embarrassing for all of us. Also, explicit or not, I'd rather not do anything with rape, incest, or a prepubescent participant.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
I love detailed prompts, but I love ones that tell me what you love about a character or source material even better. I've done one word prompts before, but I like being able to focus on what the requester really loves about the fandom.

FFXII: Vaan, Penelo, Basch/Vaan, Balthier/Vaan, Balthier/Vaan/Basch, Fran/Penelo
FFXIII: Snow/Hope, Cid/Hope

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
FFVIII: Rinoa, Quistis, Squall/Seifer, Seifer/Irvine
FFXII: Ashe, Basch/Balthier if Vaan's not between them, any het ship
FFXIII: any het ship

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
I really love friendship and silly banter and UST and loyalty and partnerships. Romance and fluff and comedy are awesome. I love first times and established relationships and casual possessiveness and being on equal footing and tender moments. I ALSO like powerplay, size differences, bloodplay, and dirty talk. If you're wanting to go with AUs, I'll try anything except slave!fic or historic!fic.

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
I'm not really into heavy angst or character death or dark!fic. I'm also not great at writing heavy kinks such as BDSM. For art, please limit it to three characters; any more than that and I get confused with all the limbs.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
For fic: characters or pairing, prompts, plot elements, song lyrics, whatever you want to throw at me.
For art: characters or pairing, what you'd like them to be doing, the tone of the picture.

Magna Carta: Tears of Blood - Orha, Amila, Serina, Calintz, Agreian, Haren, Eonis, Lehas. Calintz/Agreian, Calintz/Serina, Calintz/Reith, Orha/Amila, Orha/Serina, Orha/Amila/Serina. Eonis/Haren, Lehas -> Calintz, Lehas/Calintz.
Magna Carta 2 - Juto, Zephie, Rue in any combination.
LUNAR: Silver Star Story - Kyle/Jessica.

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
Final Fantasy IV - Cecil
Final Fantasy VI - Edgar in any romantic context.
Final Fantasy XII - Vaan and Penelo--they can be present, but not the focus, please.
Final Fantasy Tactics - n/a
Final Fantasy XIII - Hope. Also, I'm not really into Snow/Lightning.
Persona 3/P3P - Ken, Junpei, Strega members.
Persona 4 - Chie (present is fine, focus would be hard), Teddie.
Lost Odyssey - Cooke and Mack.
Magna Carta: Tears of Blood - Chris and Maya.
Magna Carta 2 - Celestine
LUNAR: Silver Star Story - Nash.

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
I love power exchange and negotiations, and conversations that aren't about what they look like they're discussing. I like female characters being super awesome, and not being confined by gender roles. I like bittersweet stories, or characters having to work really hard to get something that looks like it could be a happy ending. I have a bulletproof button for characters who walk straight into hell with eyes wide open and head held high in service of a higher ideal. Snark is my favourite. I am critically weak vs. knights forever, and loyalty and honour are awesome things to play with and rake over the coals.

Kinkwise--I, uh, I'm pretty terrible at actually writing sex scenes most of the time because I panic and hide, but when I *do* write them I love writing things with bondage, trust, creative uses of magic or in-universe items/skills, and sensory manipulation. Also, power exchange. I dig it in or out of sexual context. Dub-con can be awesome, if I can make it fit within character motivations.

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
I am not a fan of straight-up non-con, or magical healing cock. I'm pretty terrible at crack or humour fic, and I don't do horror very well. Also I prefer not to be boxed into traditional gender roles by a prompt. I prefer not to write kidfic, or pure sappy romance.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
I love prompts that give me a setup (or a jumping-off point) and a mood--I find it easiest to work with a distinct start and a feel for what I'm writing. Mix'n'match plot elements are also great--I like making the puzzle fit together.

Do you write, draw, or both?: write. No one wants to see me draw

Fandoms you're excited about right now:
Dragon Age: Origins
Dragon Age II
Radiant Historia
Tales of Vesperia
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Xenosaga

Favorite characters & relationships:
In all cases, I am open to other possibilities.

Dragon Age: Alistair, Zevran, Leliana, Merrill, Anders, Isabela, Varric, Alistair/Zevran, Isabela/Aveline
Radiant Historia: Raynie, Eruca, Selvan/Dias, Rosch/Stocke and Sonja/Rosch/Stocke
Tales of Vesperia: Flynn/Yuri, Yuri/Judith, Rita/Estelle
Fire Emblem: Ike/Soren, Elincia/Lucia, Tibarn/Naesala, Naesala/Leanne, Tibarn/Reyson
Xenosaga: Shion/KOS-MOS, Rubedo/Albedo, Nigredo/Rubedo/Albedo

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
Dragon Age: I find writing either the Warden or Hawke somewhat difficult because they're so open-ended.
Radiant Historia: Aht in pairings
Tales of Vesperia: Yeager, Gauche, and Droite. They're great characters, but I don't think I write them well.
Fire Emblem: Don't break up Ike/Soren, but I'm fine with adding people to it.
Xenosaga: I'd prefer not to write MOMO in a romantic pairing. I'm fine with her in gen.

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
I love hurt/comfort. I like some general angst. I enjoy loyalty and trust themes. I like romance in general. I like best friends and families of choice. Conversely, I can also enjoy writing deeply dysfunctional relationships.

I write both porn and gen, so you don't need to worry about that. On that note, I enjoy threesomes and polyamory. When it comes to kink, I tend to really like BDSM or general consensual powerplay prompts. I'm also fond of bloodplay and weapon kink.

AUs, crossovers, and fusions (of any of my listed fandoms) can be really interesting, too.

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
I'd rather not write non-canon character death or pregnancy fic.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
Phrases, quotes, kinks, or suggested plot elements/scenarios.

Do you write, draw, or both?: Write

Fandoms you're excited about right now:
Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age 2, Assassin’s Creed, Persona 3, Resonance of Fate, Final Fantasy XII, Last Remnant

Favorite characters & relationships:
Dragon Age Origins: Zevran/Elissa(human noble MC), Alistair/Elissa Zevran/Alistair/Elissa
Dragon Age 2: Hawke/Anders, Hawke/Fenris, Hawke/Isabella, Isabella/Anders
Persona 3: Akihiko/Shinjiro, Mitsuru/Akihiko, female!MC/Theo, Yukari/Mitsuru
Assassin’s Creed: Ezio/Leonardo
Resonance of Fate: Leanne/Vashyron/Zephyr, or any combination thereof
FFXII: Balthier/Basch
Last Remnant: Rush/David

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
None, really

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
Battles, characters talking about things that happen in-game, people having fun together. I like plot, but I’m also good with straight-up porn.
Hurt/comfort, size-difference, Stockholm syndrome/kidnapped by bandits scenarios, vampire AU’s, bondage, scar-kink, talking dirty

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
Not really anything I’m hell-bent on not even having suggested to me

What kind of prompts do you like best?
Short prompts and scenarios more than one-line prompts or song lines, I think.

Do you write, draw, or both?: Write only

Fandoms you're excited about right now:
Final Fantasy X/X-2
Final Fantasy XII
Dragon Age: Origins

Favorite characters & relationships:
FFX: Any, including minor ones! Flexible on pairings, too, except as below.
FFX-2: Paine, Yuna, Nooj, Baralai, Gippal, Beclem, anyone else in the Youth League. Paine/Nooj, Baralai/Yuna.
FFXII: Ashe, Balthier, Basch, Penelo, Al-Cid, Larsa. Ashe/Al-Cid, Ashe/Balthier, Al-Cid/Ashe/Balthier, Larsa/Penelo (aged up, please), Vaan/Penelo.
Dragon Age: Alistair, Morrigan, Wynne, Leliana, Zevran, Female Cousland, Female Aeducan. Alistair/Warden!

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
FFX: Auron/Rikku, Auron/Tidus, Lulu/Wakka. I tend to prefer writing gen in this fandom.
FFX-2: Prefer to avoid Brother and Leblanc entirely. Rikku in pairings (gen is fine). Also, Paine/Gippal and Paine/Baralai.
FFXII: Balthier/Fran, Vayne/Larsa,
Dragon Age: Really minor characters, and The Warden except as above (I'm not familiar enough with any of the other backstories). I have only played Origins (no Awakening, DA2, any of the DLC), so nothing that depends on characters or canon from other sources.

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
My preference in writing fic is to expand on canon. I like gameplay meta, examining interactions between characters, filling in the cracks of backstory, and exploring what might have happened next. Unusual parings can be fun, but I need at least a little canon interaction or evidence to work with. I'm mostly a gen and het writer. As far as porn goes, I prefer emotional connections to PWP and vanilla to kinky, except I love threesomes (particularly in FFXII fandom!).

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
I *can* do explicit slash and femslash, but they aren't in my comfort zone. Nothing sexual with a child, nothing sexual between a teenager and an adult 10 years older or more, no incest, no consent questions. I would also prefer to avoid pure crack and explicit violence.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
I like prompts that set up a situation and then give me space to run with it. Some of my favorite prompts have been ones that asked a question about a character.

Do you write, draw, or both?: write

Fandoms you're excited about right now:
Final Fantasy XIII
Infinite Undiscovery
Magna Carta 2
Radiant Historia
Star Ocean 4
Into the characters but would like an AU or crossover setting:
Persona 3 (not P3P; haven't played it)
Persona 4
Tales of the Abyss
Tales of Vesperia

(Other ones where I'm less interested in writing the characters right now but could use the settings as crossover material: Eternal Poison, Mass Effect, Nocturne, Resonance of Fate)

Favorite characters & relationships:
FFXIII: Hope/Lightning, Fang/Vanille, Fang/Lightning, Raines/Rosch, Snow/Serah/Lightning
IU: Sigmund, Edward, Capell, Touma, Komachi in any combination, Savio/Kiriya, postgame things with Vic (who I read as trans)
Magna Carta 2: Zephie, Juto, Rue, Crocell, Elgar, any combination, maybe also things with Schuenzeit?
Radiant Historia: I'm...not sure yet! I've been enjoying everybody but I'm not sure who would be most fun to write. Hit me with your best shot.
Star Ocean 4: Arumat, Crowe, Edge, Faize, Meracle, Reimi, mix and match at will, NPCs also welcome

Persona 3: Shinjiro/Akihiko/Mitsuru (or any pair thereof), Junpei/Chidori, Junpei/Ryoji, Takaya/Jin (fucked up and codependent)
Persona 4: Naoto, Kanji, Naoto/Kanji, Dojima/Naoto, Naoto/Rise, Dojima/Adachi, Dojima/Kanji?, Souji/Yosuke
Tales of the Abyss: Guy/Luke, Guy/Van, Guy/Noelle, Asch/Natalia, Van/Tear, Van/any God General, Asch/Guy?
Tales of Vesperia: Yuri/Flynn/Judith (or any pair thereof), Rita/Estelle, Judith/Estelle, Judith/Kaufman, Yuri/Kaufman, Flynn/Ioder, Alexei/Flynn, Yeager...most of the cast

I'm generally open to other characters as well, except where listed below, and I'd be happy to take on some less-obvious or less-common combinations with a prompt that gave me someplace to start. Crossover pairings are welcome.

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
FFXIII: I'd like to stick with my listed ships for this one
IU: no Aya in a major/romantic role; nothing centered on the twins
Magna Carta 2: er...I don't want to write the Avis guy, or that one NPC who's crushing on Rue. otherwise I'll give it a shot!
Radiant Historia: I probably don't want to write Heiss or Hugo as a main character?
Star Ocean 4: prefer not to center on Lymle or Bacchus; no romance for Lymle even as a background pairing

Persona 3: please stick to my listed characters/ships for this one.
Persona 4: teachers, social link characters, Yosuke in het pairings, Nanako in pairings at all
Tales of the Abyss: Jade/Guy, Guy/Natalia, Anise
Tales of Vesperia: the Hunting Blades, Cumore, Karol as a major character, Raven (Schwann okay, m/m pairings preferred)

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
I like writing adventures and boss battles; I like writing stories that push back against gender issues in the source; I like AUs and crossovers; I like poly relationships and kinky relationships and people trusting each other more generally (teamwork and found families are both pretty awesome); I like xeno more than you can actually tell from my character list, so feel free to go for not-everybody-is-human sort of AUs. I also like power struggles and villainous characters doin' their villain thing, even though I didn't list many of them above.

I like writing porn and I like a variety of kinks; most of the ones that really come easily to me are power-dynamic-related, but I am willing to try most things if you want them played seriously (i.e., please don't ask me to write kink for "cracky" purposes).
Please feel free to push my limits on themes & content -- I like prompts that nudge me a little out of my comfort zone.

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
I struggle with humor, especially to order, so I'm not a good person to ask for that. I probably won't pick up prompts with plots that revolve around misunderstandings or bigotry.
Kink-wise, I don't think I'd do a good job with infantilism or force-feeding, but those are the only hard limits I'm coming up with.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
I think my favorite prompts have a vague suggestion of what the plot should do, and also tell me why you find the characters interesting, individually or together! I like being able to elaborate on specific elements of a character's history/personality, or focus on a particular dynamic between characters.

Do you write, draw, or both?: Draw

Fandoms you're excited about right now:
Persona 3 / P3P
Final Fantasy 3
Final Fantasy XIII
Last Remnant
Tactics Ogre: Let us cling together

Favorite characters & relationships:
P3: Akihiko/Minato, Akihiko/Minako, Junpei, Ken,
FF3: Alus/Arc, Ingus/Luneth, Luneth/Refia, Ingus/Arc
FF13: Hope/Snow, Vanille/Fang, Lightning/Vanille/Fang
LR: David/Rush, Emma
TO: Denam/Vyce, Denam/Canopus, Canopus, Catiua

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
P3: Minor characters, Anybody/Aegis, Junpei/Chidori.
FF3: Refia/Arc, any minor character 'cept Desch and Alus.
FF13: Minor characters, NORA.
LR: Minor characters, non-humans ('cept Torgal)
TO: I'm not that far into the game, so characterizations of characters beyond CH 2-3 will be lost on me.

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
Little moments in-between, character interactions, intimate moments (though not explicit), fluff and sweet things!
Blood/disturbing stuff is fun to draw too?

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
Not too good at drawing porn and angst.

What kind of prompts do you like best?
Either very simple ones that are not too specific or a short sentence that gives me a feel for the mood and action of the "scene". It has to be a balance of not-too-narrow and not-too-"whatever".
Also: Rare pairings that sorta makes sense when prompted right.

Do you write, draw, or both?: Writing!

Fandoms you're excited about right now:
Shin Megami Tensei
Shin Megami Tensei II

Favorite characters & relationships:
SMT1: Law Hero+The Hero+Chaos Hero shenanigans! The Heroine can come too.
SMT2: Aleph, Beth, Gimel, Daleth, Zayin! Especially Daleth or Zayin and their interactions with Aleph.
In general: Even just humdrum inhabitants of the world would be interesting to talk about.

Characters/relationships you're not interested in working with:
Anything that focuses on only angels or demons. I'm more interested in the human side of things, lol.

Themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you really enjoy:
Mostly writing lots of introspection or observation about the world, situation, and/or relationships. I guess slice-of-life if you could put it that way, but I also love me some drama and/or action. For the most part I'm strictly gen and all for friendships, but I guess some romance can sneak in.

Any themes, genres, kinks, etc., that you'd particularly like to avoid:
No sex in general! :x I'd like to keep the rating R and below (to allow for violence and/or language).

What kind of prompts do you like best?
What character(s) are involved, and then a brief phrase/theme/plot outline/whatever.
